Our Story

Founded by Sophonias Philimon, we began our journey in the B2B market, focusing on connecting reliable buyers and sellers. After accumulating extensive experience, we launched Deraro Specialty Coffee in 2018 at our farm stations in Oromiya, specifically in Bule Hora and Kelem Welega Seyo Wereda. Our commitment to authentic Ethiopian coffee and sustainable practices has been the driving force behind our efforts.

In 2023, we proudly opened Guangzhou Deraro International Trading Co., Ltd. in Guangzhou. This allows us to leverage international trading expertise to facilitate the export of quality Ethiopian coffee. Over the years, we have built extensive relationships with reputable coffee suppliers in Ethiopia, ensuring that we source the finest products for our customers.
